Q1.   What does biz-e-Motion MobileSale do?

Answer:   biz-e-Motion MobileSale allows field salesperson to access information and log in transactions from remote locations.  Data can be exchanged between the backend server and their PDAs using cradle synchronization or wireless synchronization.   

 

Q2.   What type of PDAs does biz-e-Motion MobileSale support?

Answer:   biz-e-Motion MobileSale supports PDAs running on the Pocket PC 2002 operating system.  At present, it does not support devices with Palm OS or proprietary operating systems.

 

Q3.   Do I need a mobile phone for data synchronization?

Answer:   You may make use of the mobile phone’s modem if you are doing wireless synchronization.  However, this is usually done using a modem attached to the PDA.

 

Q4.   I deal with traditional products with Chinese names.  Does biz-e-Motion MobileSale support bilingual toggle?

Answer:   Yes, you can toggle between the English and Chinese languages and view product description, customer and vendor names in both languages.

 

Q5.   Can I deploy biz-e-Motion MobileSale for my van sales operations?

Answer:   Yes, van sales operation is one of the targeted application areas of biz-e-Motion MobileSale.  Each van can be set up as a mobile location in the system.  You can load up the vans by transferring product items into the location.  During the sales call, van salesman can enter and print cash sales and receipts for payment collected.

 

Q6.   My van sales customers regularly order the same items.  Can I make order entry for these items easier to save time?

Answer:   For each customer, you can set up one or more regular orders containing the items that are ordered regularly.  When entering orders, users can select items directly from the customer’s regular orders instead of searching through the entire product list.  

 

Q7.  Can the van salesmen do printing from their PDA?

Answer:   Yes, if you have a printer installed in the van for this purpose.  Contact our representatives for a recommendation.

 

Q8.   How can I make customer visitation schedule more efficient for each salesperson?

Answer:   You can set up a customer visitation schedule for each salesperson and they will be able to know which customers to visit on a particular by doing a quick check on the PDA.

 

Q9.   What information is available on the mobile device?

Answer:   Users can view information pertaining to customers, products and transactions on the mobile device.

 

Q10.  What transactions can be carried out by the mobile salesperson?

Answer:   Transactions that can be carried out include sales order, returns, exchange, delivery order, cash sales and collection. 

 

Q11.  What if my salesperson lost the PDA?

Answer:   Access to the PDA and the biz-e-Motion program are password controlled.  Unauthorized person will not be able gain access to your data with the PDA.  

 

Q12.  My salesmen are not familiar with PDA.  Will they be able to use it?

Answer:   The program is designed to be user friendly.  It can be mastered after some training.  Besides bilingual toggle is available to help users who are not so proficient in English.

 

Q13.  Can my salesperson use the system when they are overseas?

Answer:   Yes, they can use it anytime and anywhere.  They will need to be able to dial up to the HQ if synchronization is required.

 

Q14.  Where else can I deploy biz-e-Motion MobileSale?

Answer:   You can deploy biz-e-Motion MobileSale in exhibitions booths where there is a shortage of power source or telephone line.  You can also use it at temporary sales counters under special sales promotion arrangements.
