Multiple Outlets
e-Solution Retail supports multiple
outlets. Each outlet is identified by a unique location code. Each sales
register within the outlet is also identified by a unique register code.
User can control the types of transaction each cashier is allowed to
process using the system's security setting.
The system keeps track of inventory at
each location. Transactions entered at each location is identified by
its unique location code and transaction number.
Each outlet stores it own data and
operates without connecting to the backend server. At the end of the
business day, data is sent to the backend server for merging and
updating. Data exchange the backend and each location is done using
Microsoft's .NET technology. Outlet can also carry out data replication
at anytime to obtain the latest inventory status at the warehouse.
