Consignment-in Module
The consignment-in module allows recording of receipt and return of
goods on consignment. The user is treated as the consignee.
Integrated
with the Inventory Module
This module is integrated
with the inventory module and the program keeps track of the cost and
quantity of the consigned goods but does not consider the consigned
goods as part of the inventory.
Cost of Sales
Accrual for Consigned Goods Sold
When consignment goods are sold, the
cost of the item can be posted to an user-defined accrual account.
At the end of the consignment, the amount in the accrual account can be
transferred to actual cost of goods sold.
